Managing Directors

The managing directors combine project, management and sector experience:

 
 

Peter Graf

Dipl.-Ing.,
Managing Director

Peter Graf manages the Köln branch and primarily supervises the products Wastewater Treatment Plants, Drinking Water Supply, Civil Engineering Offices, Flowing Waters and Reservoirs.

He holds a graduate degree in engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) and completed postgraduate studies in business. From 1994 to 2003 he worked as an administrator and later as the central division manager of the commercial division of the Agger Association in Gummersbach. From 1998 to 2002, he additionally managed the business of Aggerwasser GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Aggerverband.

Since 1996 Peter Graf has contributed significantly developing the benchmarking methodology in the wastewater industry and, since 1999, has been a member of the DWA Benchmarking Working Group.

Martina Graeser

Management Assistant in IT-Systems

Martina Graeser has reinforced our team in the Hamburg branch since April 2009.

She provides support for the project managers as well as for office management, is responsible for the content of our web site and takes on the specialist system supervision of our aquabench online software. In addition, she is the contact for all questions from our clients with regard to first-level support of the aquabench online platform.

Before joining aquabench GmbH she was responsible for software and user support as well as for the reporting systems of various reputable firms.

Pamela Meyer

Dipl.-Ing.,
Project Manager

Pamela Meyer works at the Köln branch and primarily supervises the projects Wastewater Benchmarking in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Benchmarking of the Water Industry in Rheinland-Pfalz and the survey of DWA (German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste) economic data, and is the contact for international activities.

After studying civil engineering with focus on urban water and waste management at the University of Duisburg-Essen and working abroad at the University of Auckland (New Zealand) as an honorary research assistant within the framework of the "Ruhr Water Scholarship" of the Ruhrverband, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Urban Water Management) and the Ruhr University of Bochum (Chair for Economic Policy III).

She has been working on a postgraduate degree in business administration and engineering at the Open University of Hagen.

Pamela Meyer has been supporting the aquabench GmbH team since May 2007.

Kay Möller

Dipl.-Ing.,
Project Manager
Since March 2009 Kay Möller has reinforced the corporate benchmarking team wastewater within the Hamburg branch and is chiefly responsible for the supervision of the project wastewater performance indicator comparison in Baden-Wurttemberg.

Following his structural engineering and environmental engineering studies at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) he worked as scientific assistant in the TUHH Institute for Water Resources and Water Supply in the project “Development and practical testing of process performance indicators in the water industry” which is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Subsequently he supervised several performance indicator comparisons in water supply at the DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water) research centre at the TUHH.

Jan-H. Schaper

Dipl.-Kaufmann,
Project Manager

As a project manager at the Hamburg branch, Jan Schaper is responsible for the products Corporate - Metric Benchmarking of Wastewater Companies and Materials Management. He additionally supervises the online platform and is responsible for the ongoing development of the software.

After completing his degree in business administration in 1997, Jan Schaper worked as a consultant and project manager in the area of IT at various consulting firms. Jan Schaper has been supporting the aquabench GmbH team since the beginning 2004.

Sven Weiher

Project Manager

Sven Weiher works at the Hamburg branch of aquabench GmbH as the project manager of the Sewer Operations Product. He is additionally the contact person for the first level support of the online platform.

He has been with aquabench GmbH since it was founded and has successfully worked on the conception and further development of corporate - metric benchmarking of wastewater companies and sewer operations products since 2000.

Eva Wortmann

Dipl.-Biol.,
Dipl.- Wirt.Ing.,
Project Manager

Eva Wortmann works at the Köln branch as a project manager for the product Wastewater Treatment Plants and supervises the projects “Wastewater Treatment Plants in Rheinland-Pfalz” and “European Process Benchmarking for WWTP”.

After graduating in biology at the RWTH Aachen University in 1998, she first worked as a scientific officer at a technical and financial orientated consulting company. In 2002 she graduated in Engineering & Business at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and wrote her diploma thesis on benchmarking in the waste industry. From 2001 to 2008 she was entrusted with multifaceted consulting and sales duties in the area of waste and wastewater as project manager at a large company of the waste industry.

Eva Wortmann has been supporting the aquabench GmbH team since June 2008.

Daniel Zipperer

Dipl.-Ing. (FH), M. Sc.
Project Manager

Daniel manages our benchmarking initiatives for drinking water services as well as for operators of large reservoirs at our office in Cologne, Germany. He also advises water supply utilities with regard to antitrust compliance.

Daniel obtained his academic degree from the University of Applied Sciences Dresden, Germany where he studied civil engineering, focusing on geotechnical engineering, water engineering and management. During his undergraduate year he also studied one year abroad at the Nottingham Trent University, England. After finishing his undergraduate, he worked for an engineering consultant office in Dresden. Daniel also holds an M. Sc. degree in Sustainable Protection and Management of Water from the University of Braunschweig, Germany.

Daniel has been working with aquabench since January 2006.
