Reservoirs Product
On the initiative of various reservoir operators in Germany, aquabench GmbH has been developing and testing various process models in cooperation with the Association of Drinking Water from Reservoirs (ATT) since December 2004 in order to maintain an optimally idealized and structured illustration of the operation of reservoirs in Germany.
In addition to the moderation and organization of the project, aquabench GmbH’s primary tasks are the processing and review of the data provided by the operators for plausibility and methodological, business and technical consulting. aquabench contributes extensive experience from various benchmarking projects within the German-speaking area.
The goal is to consider correspondingly the individual perceptions and operational features of the participating corporate bodies and/or companies. The experience gained in the projects is to flow into an ATT guide entitled “Benchmarking of Reservoirs" which aquabench GmbH will create in cooperation with the IWW, Mülheim after the completion of the pilot projects.
The analyses deal not only with individual processes but also with the improvement of the utilization of personnel, both in consideration of the varying types of reservoirs, types of use and in particular consideration of rural conditions.
The objectives are, in addition to the improvement of the overall company controlling, the improved efficiency in the partial processes considered. This should also ultimately support transparency in the performance of services vis-à-vis the public and the supervisory authorities.
The Benchmarking Online software of aquabench GmbH is used for data management.
